The College Network Partners with The University of North Dakota

Indianapolis, Ind. - The College Network is pleased to announce that it has signed an exclusive educational partnership agreement with The University of North Dakota to promote the university's distance education engineering programs.

The University of North Dakota's Division of Continuing Education and School of Engineering and Mines are working exclusively with The College Network to further promote and implement their distance engineering programs. All general education courses can be completed through a combination of transfer credits from accredited schools, UND's Correspondence Study courses, and test-out credits. Students prepare for the test-out examinations through The College Network's study guide program. The distance engineering degree programs offered by the University are as follows:

  • Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering
  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering

The University of North Dakota and The College Network will offer these programs to adult learners working full time and those individuals not able to attend traditional on-campus courses. A collaborative vision is shared by both organizations to make world-class education accessible and affordable for working adults.

"Distance learning enables busy adults to work on their degree at their own pace and in their own environment," said Dr. Lynette Krenelka, Director of Distance Degree Programs. "This is one way that adults can advance their careers while continuing to work and support their families.

"The College Network is proud to be working with The University of North Dakota to promote and deliver these exciting educational opportunities to working adults," said Gary Eyler, CEO of The College Network. "For working adults, studies indicate that distance learning is as effective as traditional learning. Work and family obligations often prevent professionals from attending an on-campus school setting. Distance learning provides a unique option for busy professionals."
