Indianapolis, Ind. –The College Network™ (TCN) announced today that it has appointed Nita Kasan, RN, MS as Chief Nursing Officer. In this position, Ms. Kasan will serve The College Network as a nursing education advocate by applying her years of experience with direct patient care, teaching, nursing administration and consulting to TCN’s corporate customers and partners.

Ms. Kasan joins TCN having been the President and Chief Executive Officer for Innovative Excellence, Inc., a healthcare consulting firm and the Vice President Interim Services and Chief Nursing Officer for CTL Consulting, LLC. Prior to her consulting roles, Kasan served as Chief Operating Officer/Chief Nursing Officer for University Community Healthcare System in Tampa, Florida. She has been a member of the Center for Nursing leadership, has served on the Board of Directors for the Florida Organization of Nurse Executives, and has won multiple awards for excellence in both organizational and community leadership.

Kasan received her Master of Science in Health Services Administration from Cardinal Stritch University, formerly Cardinal Stritch College in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, her Bachelor of Science in Health Arts from the University of St. Francis, formerly College of St. Francis in Joliet, Illinois and her RN Diploma from the Ohio Valley General Hospital School of Nursing in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
