The new online system, called the Resource Center, individualizes the learning experience, giving customers access to what’s critical for their academic success.

Online access enables customers to conveniently study Comprehensive Learning Modules online regardless of geographic location or time of day. The system also allows customers to get updates from The College Network through the Message Center. Customers can conveniently access and target relevant course material, view course objectives, print out defined key terms, and read course chapters from their home computer. No more paper notes–the Resource Center saves notes to the system so customers can store and reference their notes anytime.

The new Resource Center has built-in interactivity. Learners answer end-of-chapter review questions and receive answers instantly. Practice exams are also available for each module. The practice exams are developed for each course to help prepare customers to take specific college equivalency examinations later for credit. Each practice exam is scored immediately to provide a benchmark for the customer’s knowledge as well as an opportunity to review the material and re-take the exam at leisure, thus improving learning.

The Product Development, Information Technology, and Academic Support departments have worked hard over the past 18 months to prepare for this exciting expansion of The College Network’s product. The Academic Support team has advisors trained to assist customers with any question they may have about our new online resources.
